Arte Actual en Puebla se deriva de la exposición homónima exhibida en la Galería de Arte del Palacio Municipal, del 25 de febrero al 17 de mayo del 2021. En su versión digital, esta exhibición agrupa a 17 artistas en una revisión de la creación plástica en Puebla, alcanzando un periodo de producción que va del 2017 al 2020.

Los discursos de esta muestra plantean cuestionamientos que van desde la tensión entre el capital y las formas de agruparnos frente al consumo excesivo hasta la relación entre arte y tecnología, pasando inevitablemente por el escenario actual de contingencia sanitaria. Es posible identificar coincidencias entre los distintos autores, pero también claros antagonismos que contribuyen a fomentar el diálogo y la crítica. Los puntos de encuentro sin embargo no son escasos y tampoco casuales entendiendo la complejidad del territorio poblano.
